As usual, summer examinations of MSBTE and all other universities are held in April and May. and the results are announced in July. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year in 2020 all the university and also MSBTE exams were held in October.
What was the pattern of the exam?
Examinations are conducted every year in written form by going to the actual college. but this year, to observe social distancing and spread corona among the students, the exams were conducted online at home with this MCQ type pattern.
For the online exam of MSBTE, MSBTE had provided the facility to take the exam on Android application as well as on the browser. There were 40 questions in the exam and it was mandatory to solve any 30 questions. Each question was for 1 mark each. That means the exam was of 30 marks. And the time was 60 minutes or 1 hour.
All MSBTE exams were conducted online from 6th October to 17th October using the MCQ pattern. Each paper in the exam was different. And there was a 4-hour time slot for the paper so that if someone's paper was cut in half due to a technical problem, the student could re-take the paper in that 4-hour slot.
The biggest question among the students at present is the
1) result date of the summer 2020 exam?
Since the written examination of MSBTE is held every year. The result of MSBTE is declared after 35-40 days at the end of the exams. But this year, due to the online examination of summer 2020, the process of checking the paper was reduced.
UGC also stated in the guidelines that all universities should submit their test results by October 31 the first week of November.
MSBTE has also given the tentative date of Result which is the first week of November. so, the result of the MSBTE summer 2020 exam is expected to declare by the first week of November.
The Msbte result summer 2020 exam is for all other semesters except the final year. i.e, the summer 2020 result of the 2nd and 4th semester of Diploma in Engineering and the first year of Diploma in Pharmacy has declared on 14 July 2020.
2)how many marks required to pass the MCQ exam?
MSBTE has not yet officially stated the number of passing marks for the MSBTE summer 2020 exam and has not mentioned it anywhere in any circular.
but there is talk everywhere that passing is at 10-12 marks. this is just a discussion going on. because MSBTE has not yet been told that the passing is about how much marks.
